Late 2023 saw the latest reforms to classification of household waste. The acronym 'POPS' entered the common vernacular . In a nutshell almost all dated leather and fabric sofas and chairs contain this contaminant and must be recycled separately , this incurs additional costs to waste carriers and subsequently the customer.
